This is a set of two kinds of eels from the Shimanto River, one of Japan's most famous places for eels. Shimanto eel is characterized by its high fat content and lack of peculiarity. The flesh is soft and fluffy to the touch. Shiroyaki is grilled directly over a fire without adding any other additives such as seasonings, and can be served with wasabi or salt to taste as you like. You can enjoy both Kabayaki and shiroyaki in this special set.
